Next Monday (4/20!) Public Space ONE has a killer indie rock extravaganza coming to town featuring one of our favorite bands of the last year, Wye Oak, and a band we’ve been looking forward to seeing for some time now, Pomegranates. Wye Oak, of course, killed it at the Mill alongside some of our other friends back in September and are some just absolutely delightful people. If you like pop music, or even just music, then this ought to be your thing. Pomegranates, on the other hand, are due up for an appearance here in town after their last scheduled show never happened due to the Great Flood of 2008, ruiner of all things. This time, they’ve got a new album in tow called Everybody Come Outside! that just keeps hitting you with delightful pop hooks. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Lujo Records and Fanatic Promotion, we’ve got three copies of their new album to give away for free!
