Happy Thanksgiving from Mission Freak

turkee005-004We here at Mission Freak have been dormant for the last week, as all of the members of our staff have been busy with things like work and school. We’re unexpectedly taking the week off from publishing content, but want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, however you choose to celebrate. Should you choose to take in some music this weekend, be sure to keep your eye on the Picador’s Friday night “Wanksgiving” metal celebration with the Horde, Snow Demon, and Only Four Remain. It’s a free show for you to enjoy. If that’s not your thing, the Mill might be up your alley with a folkier mix featuring Sad Iron, Skye Carrasco, and Alexis Stevens. More to come on the next page of the calendar for us, including our coverage of the best of 2009, more mp3s, and preliminary announcements about the 2010 Mission Creek Festival. Keep your eye open for that, and have a great holiday!
