Today is the day, folks. If you need to pick up your festival pass, head to the upstairs of Prairie Lights Bookstore on Dubuque St. and enter the Times Club. There will probably be a very bored-looking/anxious person sitting at a table with a stack of papers in front of him. This is not your guy. The guy you’re looking for will be excited and sitting at a table with Mission Creek paraphernalia AND your festival pass! You talk to him/her, ask questions that you may have about the fest, exchange phone numbers if it goes well, and then show him your ID. You MUST have your ID to pick up your pass, and YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR OWN PASS! There will be no picking up passes for friends or “I lost it”s. We know what you’re up to.

If you don’t have a pass, stop by and freakin’ buy one, dude. We still have Limited Passes available for sale, and it is the deal of your life. You are losing money if you don’t buy a pass, not to mention dumb. Okay, I didn’t mean that, but I wouldn’t trust you with my (hypothetical) kids for the weekend.

Like AC, I will be posting to this blog every day. My posts will most likely be irrelevant and rambling, but they may entertain you. If they don’t, please don’t tell me. I cannot be held accountable for my actions of the next week. It has been too long of a wait and I am too damn excited to contain myself. Especially on this blog.

Another component may or may not be a Mission Creek Producers Confessional section of my posts. I may set up a room where Mission Creek Producers can go and vent, tell stories, pass out, or simply stare at a camera. I will post the highlights here either on a day by day basis, or a grand series of clips at the end of the festival.
