A Preemptive Apology

I’m still going to be posting here on the website, but my daytime hours in which I normally posted are going to be occupied by the magic that is the Women’s World Cup. That’s right. Ladies. Playing Soccer. In Germany. Don’t run to your televisions yet; the games are over for the day. They’ll be back tomorrow. Do I have a favorite team? Not really. Would like to see the US win again, but those Germans look fierce. They have a lady striker named Alexandra Popp. If there is anyway that we can get her and Magnitude from Community in the same room, it needs to happen. That’s a cultural vortex waiting to happen.

This does not mean that I won’t be posting here. I’ve got a fair amount of stuff to slog through. Expect reviews of The Pursesnatchers, The Laureates, Soema Montenegro, and The New Sade Comp. I might start a continual review of older records that might have been skipped over either by the public when they came out or me when they came out. I do write for a music blog, but things do slip under my nose from time to time. The schedule might get erratic, but it will not stop.

If you need something to do in the meantime, go see 13 Assassins at the Bijou. It’s bleeding amazing.
